L. Jarred Corn, Partner, Governmental Services Department
L. Jarred Corn is a Partner with 15 years experience in the Governmental Services
Department. Jarred joined the partnership in 2007. His areas of expertise include the audits of municipal governments, school districts, special schools, non-profit
organizations, housing authorities, sewerage authorities, port authorities, and
fire districts. He is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant, Public
School Accountant, and Registered Municipal Accountant in New Jersey. Mr. Corn earned
his B.S. in accounting from Trenton State College (now known as The College of New
Jersey).
Experience: Jarred is currently responsible for the audits of seven
authorities, two municipalities, two school districts, and one not-for-profit organization,
most of which are subject to the requirements of the Single Audit Act. Some of his
larger clients include the City of Camden and the Delaware River Port Authority,
both of which are located in Camden County. He has helped develop and instructs
in-house
continuing professional education seminars involving school district accounting
and auditing, implementation of various Governmental Accounting Standards Board
Statements, and municipal accounting and auditing. In addition, he has participated
in the Firm’s Workpaper Inspection Program.
Membership in Professional Organizations: Jarred is a member of
the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society
of Certified Public NJSCPAs Accountants.
Jarred resides in Lumberton Township, Burlington County, with his wife Julie and their three children.
