Michael J. Welding, Partner, Governmental Services Department

Michael J. Welding is a Partner with over 25 years of experience in the Governmental Services Department of the Firm. His areas of expertise are in the governmental consulting and auditing of counties, municipalities, authorities, school districts and special districts of the State of New Jersey. He is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant, Registered Municipal Accountant and Public School Accountant. Mike earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rutgers University Camden in 1981.

Experience: Mike is currently Partner-in-Charge on the engagements of one county, seven municipalities, two school districts, six utility authorities, a fire district and various other special governmental entity engagements. His responsibilities have also included assistance to clients in the selection and implementation of computer hardware and software and assistance in various debt issuance matters. Mike is also licensed as a Municipal Chief Financial Officer.

Membership in Professional and Civic Organizations: Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Registered Municipal Accountants' Association of New Jersey. He is a trustee of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants PAC Committee. He is also a charter member of the Rotary Club of Pine Hill Sunrise.

Michael and his wife Diane are residents of Washington Township, Gloucester County.
